Esther Fouts, age 91 of Napoleon, Ohio died on Saturday evening at her residents.
She was born November 6, 1919 in Hamler, Ohio the daughter of the late Alvin and Luella (Bergstedt) Miller. On November 19, 1938 she married Albert "Bert" Fouts and he preceded her in death on March 21, 1995.
Esther was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, in Napoleon.. and the Bert G. Taylor Post 300 American Legion Auxiliary.
She is survived by son, James (Sandy) Fouts of Napoleon; daughters, Barbara (Eldon) Nye of Napoleon, Marilyn (Rod) Kettlety of Camp Verde, Arizona, Alberta Smith of Defiance and Judy (John) Korak of McClure; Sisters, Lorna Bostelman, Mildred Miller and Elnora Koppenhofer all of Napoleon; sister in-laws, Ann Stockman of Okolona and Maria Lange of Hamler;18 grandchildren; 42- great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
Esther was preceded in death also by a daughter, JoAnn Fouts, sisters, Olga Kruse, Ruth Bostelman, Betty Botjer; brothers Donald, Vernon and Harlan Miller; grand daughter, Dawn Korak.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M.. on Wednesday at the Emanuel Lutheran Church, Napoleon, Ohio with the Rev. James Castello, officiating. Interment will be held at the Forest Hill Cemetery.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 - 8 PM in the Snyder-Wesche Funeral Home, Napoleon , Ohio and on Wednesday for one hour prior to services at the church.
The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to the Henry County Hospice, Hope Services or Emanuel's Good Sam Fund. www.snyderweschefuneralhome.com
