Eugene Lowe Obituary

Mr. Eugene Lowe, 90, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013.

Mr. Lowe served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart. He also worked for 40 years as a paper currier for Savannah Morning News and owned his own landscaping business.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Frankie Lorena Cole Lowe and son, Edward Eugene Lowe.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald D. Lowe of Charlotte, NC and William Lowe of Savannah, GA; two daughters, Mildred Smith of Pooler, GA and Martua Lowe of Statesboro, GA; and several other family members.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim. Rev. David Stanton and Rev. Buddy Cribb will officiate.
