Florence Key Turner, 103, of Tyler, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Mrs. Turner, a retired seamstress, was born on May 23, 1910 between the communities of Mixon and Sycamore to Will and Bessie Key.

They had one daughter, Betty Stainback of Tyler. They moved to Tyler in 1976 to be near her. Florence loved to bake and was an excellent seamstress but most of all she loved to take care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had twin great great grandsons, Preston and Nathan Stainback, who were her latest pride and joy.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church since 1977. She will be remembered for her faith in her Lord, her loving ways and patience. She lived out Proverbs 31:10-A Godly wife, mother and grandparent; as well as Micah 6:8-She was genuine and lived out her faith. Our lives are rich because we knew her and her love for family and friends.
