The world is a sadder place without Fred Glassman. We will miss him dearly. But I know Fred would have been pleased with his send off. It was a very fine affair that paid tribute to the wonderful man he was. Rhoda's tombstone said, "Until we meet again". They are together now.

So sorry our neighbor Fred has passed. We knew him as a quiet gentleman who smiled, gave a gentle nod, and always had the time to listen and be helpful. We will miss him and his quiet dignity. Phil DeVries & Carla Penz, Metairie, LA

My husband and I met Mr. Glassman at the WWII Museum this past July. It was an honor to meet him and listen to his stories of Burma. Later that day we were able to invite him to join us at lunch. What a treat! He spoke mainly of his family and life after the war. I am saddened about his passing, but what a full life he lead. Thank you for your service to our country, Mr. Glassman and for a very memorable day at the WWII Museum.
