I remember Gale as an always jovial and mild person

To the family of Gale,
Your father was a mild and gentle acting man in our village. He was diligent about selling chicken pies for American Legion Post 544 Sandy Ridge ( they are delicious). We will miss his kind demeanor and orders for chicken pies. He continued to support our troops through his actions. He will be missed! God's blessings to all of you during this very sad time.

Gale was a friend, a mentor, partner, and advisor to me. He is one of a kind and can never be replaced.
Vickie and I send our condolences to the Millholen family and the extended family as well.
Gale will be missed but will always be remembered.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.

Papa was very special, he always had an open heart and kind words of wisdom.

It has been said, "Nothing you love is lost." Not really. People always go away sooner or later. You can't hold them anymore than you can hold the moonlight. But if they have touched your life, if they are inside you, then they are still yours. The only things you ever really keep are the people and memories you hold in your heart.

I knew and loved Mary and Papa for 44 years. I hold them very close to my heart and will never, ever forget all the wonderful memories of them both.

Mary, Gerald, Eric, and Bill....My deepest, heartfelt sympathy.

Much Love To All

My friend, I will miss you as I'm sure many others will also. We had some very memorable times together, I will never forget the night we took my boat down the ICW to that remote boat yard; No moon, No lights and a tide so high we had to contend with floating islands of grass and debris, but your sense of humor could only let you complain about the cheese we had for dinner. You were the best of the best. God's speed and may you have a grand arrival at your destination of choice. My friendship goes with you. Smooth sailing my friend.

Dear Mary & Gerry & Bill,
So sorry to hear of your Dad's death. He was quite a guy, the boys remember him well. He always reminded me of his time in Nebraska. He and Cloid were buddies. He is with Mary J. & Cloid now. He had a good long life, & remember well the trip we had with them. So glad that we got to go back there once anyway. Our love to all of you, thinking of you. And maybe later in Nebraska

Dear Boats and Family,
Your dad must have been quite a man to have raised a son like you, Boats. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Will he be up in Heaven with our esteemed legislator, Dave Smith, making trouble together? Please accept my sympathy and prayers. Love from your friend down south. Sally
