Gloria Lee Bell Sears, 81, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015 in Abilene, TX. Graveside services will be held at 2:00p.m. on Monday, April 20, 2015 in Brock Cemetery, Brock Texas under the direction of Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory St. Visitation will be Sunday, April 19, 2015 from 2:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. at the family residence, 2057 Anson Ave., Abilene, TX.
Gloria was born on August 4, 1933 in Brock, Texas to Cecil and Amanda Jones Bell. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Gloria was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy Wayne; a son, Carl Wayne; two grandsons, Michael and P.J. Scarborough. Survivors include her son, James Sears and wife, Patti of Eastland; her daughters, Faye Lizarraras and husband, Ray, and Christy Patterson and husband, Will all of Abilene; sisters, Joyce Walker and Norma Gill; eight grandchildren, Tracy, Brian, Jason, Tanya, Beka, Jeffrey, Samantha, and Christopher; and 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the West Texas Rehab.
