Grace Wylupek, age 82 of Brooksville, Florida died Sunday at the Heron Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Center. A true native of Brooksville, she was born on January 6, 1932 to Quincy Donald and Lauretta Evelyn Lydia (Wolf) Raines. Grace received her education and graduated from Hernando High School. She continued on and graduated business college and moved to Washington DC where she worked for the Civil Service. Through her work she met and later married her husband of 50 years Joseph Stanley Wylupek on September 20, 1952. They lived in Delair, New Jersey for 50 years and after his death Grace returned home to Brooksville. As a team Grace and Joseph ran a babysitting service, were landlords of apartments, ran a fishing boat business, health food store, and of late owned her business selling jewelry at shows. Grace was a lifelong Christian and was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus with her husband. Grace is preceded in death by her parents, and by her loving husband Joseph. She is survived by her son, Joe Wylupek and his wife Debbie of Franklin, North Carolina; Daughters, Debbie Dellefratte, and her husband Kevin, of Brooksville, FL; Jennifer McCormick, of Blue Anchor, NJ; Pat Brittin and her husband Mike, of Brooksville, FL; and by son Quincy Wylupek and his wife Becca, also of Brooksville, FL; 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren bless this family. Grace is also survived by her sisters, Mary Lee “PeeWee” Shell, of Temple Terrance, FL; Margie Sellers of Brooksville, FL; Sally Gomer and Husband Larry, of Billings, MT; and by her uncle, Sonny Wolf of Brooksville, FL. Grace’s family and friends will gather at Turner Funeral Home, 504 East Jefferson Street, Brooksville, Florida 34601 from 2-4 pm on Saturday, June 21, 2014. A Funeral Service will be held at the chapel at 4 pm, with Reverend Tom Marshall, of the Community Bible Church in Brooksville, officiating. A reception will follow the funeral services. Grace will be buried next to Joseph in the St. Joseph Cemetery, in Chews Landing, New Jersey, under the direction of the Predpelski Funeral Home, 983 Haddon Avenue, Collingswood, New Jersey, 08108. 865-854-5454.
