Dear Marie & Todd - My sympathies to both of you.
I have such fond memories of him and that green carpeted church in Riverton. Begining in 5th grade I recall all of the great times I had in the youth program. Gray was such a big supporter of getting us kids involved. I don't know of any other church that would have allowed young children to stand at the pulpit and read scripture from the bible. I so enjoyed getting dressed up and reading from that large book (and lighting the candles). His colorful robes and calming voice was always reassuring. Some of my favorite memories were when we would pile into the back of his station wagon and he would take us to Thermopolis to go swimming (just for fun). He always made us kids feel important and knew that's who needed to hear God's word the most (even though we didn't know it then). Unfortunatley I don't know if I've seen him since he married Mike and I in 1996. When I look at his picture today I see the same man I knew all those years ago. Thank you for making us always watch those old home movies and getting us to sing in church you and Grayson helped to shape many of our lives as young children, Blessings.
