Since I haven't seen Howie for many years, I remember him in an earlier time, always with a smile on his face. On one particular occasion, while walking home from a movie, Howie began teasing me...I still remember every word with fondness. I missed him terribly at the last family reunion in Peru, IN and had hoped that we would reconnect at the next one. Now we can't and I know that I will continue to miss him in my heart and wished I had done more to keep up the contact. If I miss him that much, how much more will he be missed by Carm, his children and his brothers. My sympathy to all of you.

To the Bain Family: Howie was my cousin, and even though we have not seen each other in a very long time, I have such fond memories of the visits we had when we were young. I especially remember our trip to New York to visit...it was the only family vacation I remember. Howie will be missed and my heart goes out to you along with my prayers. Judy (Crume) Henderson
