Ann, Just saw your message on Dad's memorial page, thank you for your kind words. I am so sorry for your loss, even if it's belated. I still have the picture of you both from Mother's party with everyone smiling so big and so happy. That's how I always remember you both. I also wanted to thank you for being such a friend, joy and comfort to my mother, I still miss her everyday. I hope you are well and happy! Blessings, Annie (Anne) Macdonald

Kris Cochran
My name is Kris, I am a friend of Chris Mele, Jim Meyer's step son. I was not fortunate enough to be able to get to know Jim myself but, knowing Chris the way I do, if he loved him then that says volumes. Jim must have been a wonderful man in life & I believe that great people in life make the best Angels in death. Rest assured he will be watching over his family with infinite love. My family & I offer our condolences to everyone. May Jim rest in peace & may his family be comforted by all of the wonderful times that were shared over the years. The world has lost a great man & Heaven has gained a great Angel.

Ann, we enjoyed Jim, the many times we were vacationing with you two. We have wonderful memories with our vacations to Hilton Head, it won't seem the same. Jim was so patience with all of us, doing whatever we wanted to do, he would always go never complain. He was excellent with directions, that was amazing. He was fun to be with and played tennis so well. He loved and admired you so much. He was proud of you. Love Bev, Esther, & Jackie

I will think of Jim every time I step onto the tennis court. For many of us he will never be gone but just "out of our reach".
