Mr. James Nunn, 84, of Rocky Gap, VA died Wednesday at Loving Hand Adult Care in Bluefield, WV.
Born at Bland, VA, he was the son of the late Sallie Moorehead Nunn and Roney L. Nunn.
James was a delivery driver for Flowers Bakery in Bluefield, WV.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Nunn and sisters Aliene Woolwine and Mary Shelton and one brother Ralph Nunn.
He is survived by his two sons, Buford J. Nunn and wife Louise of Vinton, VA, and Albert L. Nunn and wife Donna of Bland, VA. One granddaughter Angela M. Nunn of Silver Spring, Maryland. Two sisters; Janie Mitchell and husband Henry of Pulaski, VA and Lorine Gibson and husband Donald of Bluefield, WV. Two brothers; Lloyd and wife Sue of Bland, VA and Roy Nunn of Bluewell, WV.
James was a Veteran of World War II. He was retired from Flower's Bakery of Bluefield, WV. He was a member of the Rocky Gap Church of Christ in Rocky Gap, VA.
Friends may call 6 -8 on Friday, July 2, 2010 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Princeton, WV.
Graveside Services only will be Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Garden of Nativity at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Charles Bowling officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please send donation to Loving Hand's Adult Care, Rt. 4, Box 179, Bluefield, WV 24701.
