Juanita L. Long, 85, of Union City, died May 23, 2012 at the Community Health Center of Branch County. She was born Dec. 11, 1926 in Hastings, MI to Leo and Jenning M. (Belson) Warner.
She married Leon Long Feb. 20, 1951 in Coldwater. Juanita was a member of the First Congregational Church UCC, the Bible Study Group and the Green Thumb Garden Club. She loved potluck dinners, her cat Kitty and playing bingo. She made friends easily and loved them all.
Juanita is survived by two sisters, Mary Ann Bender of Hudson, MI and Verna Shellington of Hastings, MI. She is also survived by a nephew Randy. She was predeceased by her husband Leon in 1989. Funeral Services will be Wednesday May 30, 2012 with one hour of visitation before the service at 11:00 AM at the First Congregational Church UCC in Union City. Pastor Karen Nachtigall will officiate.
