Kris Klinkel passed away on August 3, 2014 at the age of 59. He is survived by his son Adam Klinkel, his parents Mary Jo and Earl Klinkel, sister Cleone Klinkel, nephew Joshua Klinkel (Stacy), two great nieces and one great nephew. Growing up, he was an active Boy Scout in Nashville at the Lockland School until the family moved to South Dakota. He lived and worked on drilling rigs until he joined the Army. He served in Korea during the Vietnam War. After his service, he traveled extensively and settled in the greater Nashville area. He was a long-time resident of the Lebanon Home for disable veterans. He continued his education throughout his life and recently finished a course of study in computer technology. He enjoyed music, outdoor activities such as fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. Family and friends will gather at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from four to eight o'clock in the evening and again on Friday, August 8, 2014 from two to four o'clock, with funeral service to follow at four o'clock on Friday.
