Lola Evelyn Andrews, 91, of Marion, passed away, Sunday, August 7, 2011 at her residence.

She was born September 27, 1919 in Avery County, NC to the late Zack Coffey and Cordelia Gragg Coffey. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband; Dover Andrews, a son; Lewis Andrews, and a daughter; Nancy Andrews.
Mrs. Andrews was a member of Peppers Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving is nine children; a son; Gene Andrews, wife Betty, of Marion, son; Lee Andrews, of Marion, daughter; Donna Bailey, husband Robert, of Spruce Pine, son; Tom Andrews, wife Debbie, of Montana, son; Roger Andrews, wife Barbara, of Marion, daughter; Kay Morris, husband Ed, of Marion, daughter; Ruth Queen, husband Mike, of Spruce Pine, daughter; Carol Good, of Marion, and a son; Chris Andrews, wife Ann, of Conover, NC, 24 Grandchildren, and 19 Great-Grandchildren, and a special nephew; Richard Zueber.


Visitation will be held Tuesday August 9, 2011 at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 10, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the McCall Memorial Chapel at Kirksey Funeral Home with the Rev. T.J. Addison officiating. Burial will follow at Ashford Community Cemetery.
