70, returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 9, 2013.
He was born Dec. 10, 1942, to L.Z. "Zeke" Bartlett and Elva May (Stimpson) Bartlett. He grew up in Buhl and Twin Falls and graduated from Twin Falls High School. He graduated from Idaho State University with a degree in recreation. After working several recreation jobs, he settled into golf and eventually achieved his goal as a PGA teaching professional. He managed a golf course in Porterville, Calif., for a few years before moving to Mesa, Ariz., where he continued to teach golfing until his recent retirement. He is respected for his knowledge and teaching ability and for his gentle persuasion. He will be missed by many people, but especially his family. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father; two older brothers, Jay and Lee (Barbara); and one sister, Shirley (Dean) Tolman; and a brother-in-law, Jerry Jones. He is survived by one brother, Max (Lorraine); one sister, Sharol Jones; and sister-in-law, Iris Bartlett; also many nieces and nephews and a special friend, Krista Johnson.
Cremation will take place in Mesa and a special gathering will be held in Twin Falls, Idaho, later in the summer for family and friends. We thank all who were part of his life.

We will miss Dale! He was more than a golf teacher to Tessa and Tabitha. He treated them more like granddaughters with his gentle kindness. Not only did they learn golf, but more important we gained a wonderful friend.
