My deepest sympathy to the Darton Family. Mabel was a kind and generous person, with a welcoming personality. Having been a guest over the yrs at Twin Pine, I always looked forward to seeing her. Many times I would return from fishing and there would be fresh cookies waiting on my porch. I enjoyed our visits both at the resort and her new home. Such a lovely lady and sweet soul. She will be missed by many. Rest In Peace Dear Mable.

We hold many fine memories of Mabel from our stays at Twin Pine over the years that she and Ken owned it. She was welcoming and enthusiastic about our stay and wanted to know "how is the fishing?". She always asked about our "boys", Scott and Gerry, who grew up at Twin Pine with summer vacations there for all the years Ken and Mabel had the resort. Our deepest sympathies to you all and we hope you are comforted knowing Mabel is now at peace. Sincerely, Paul, Betty, Scott & Gerry Glatzel

Our entire family loved friendly Mabel. We stayed at Twin Pine Resort all the years that she was an owner and treasured the chats we had with her while sitting by the lake. We have many fond memories of both Mabel and Ken as we got to know them. She is at peace now. The Schneider Family, Bob, Barb, Sarah, Greg, Raina and their families.
