Ms Malvis Hagan Brack, 80, passed from this life on Monday, June 21, 2010 at Leesville, La
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 25 2010, 11AM, same day as her Birthday, at First United Pentecostal Church of Leesville, officiating will be Rev. Mark Christian, Rev. John Burns and Rev. Greg Mortensen. Burial will be at Hicks Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville, a dignity memorial provider. Visitation will begin on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 3PM until 10PM at the church. Pallbearers will be her family members, Michael Smith, James Alan Walters, Charles Brooks, Greg Dowden, Mark Johnson and Ronnie Hagan.
Survivors include one son, Dewayne Brack ; sisters, Julia "Abigal" Walters, Jenelle Brooks; Marilyn Smith all of Leesville and Janice Kennedy of Simmesport; brother, Air Force Retired Sergeant Major Othel D. Hagan and wife Ronnie of Columbus, Ms; 1 grandchild , Serice Craft of Leesville and 2 great grandchildren, Kensley Craft and Jase Johnson along with a host of nieces, nephews and many dear friends, especially Charles and "Dumpy" Moore who dearly loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Brack; daughter, DeWanna Craft; grandson, Jarred Craft; son-in-law, Michael Craft and her parents, Charlie Hagan and Mary Hall Hagan.
Malvis was a native of Hicks, La where she was a graduate of Simpson High School and had worked as a Switchboard Operator, then known as Southern Bell Telephone Company. She grew up attending Hicks Pentecostal Church and then later attended First United Pentecostal Church of Leesville where she was a member.
