Louise Bogden was a friend of mine. She was a "True Blue" person that called it like she saw it and I appreciated that. She always made me smile and I will miss very much.

So sorry to hear about Louise. Growing up at Westbrook, she and Charlie were 2 of my favorite "old" people.

Louise was one of the most thoughtful ladies you would ever want to meet. The last Easter my Grandmother (Sara Childress) was w/ us she was
almost completely blind. Louise
prepared a small Easter basket
for G-ma to give to her Great
Grandson. Words cannot express how much that meant to our family! She was always thinking of others. What a fine example of a follower of Christ. You just don't see kindness demonstrated like that much these days.

I had to priviledge and honor of caring for Louise when she needed surgery. It means a lot to me that you considered me more family than just one of her doctors. So sorry for your loss.

Butch & Denny, So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was one very special lady (had to be to be married to crazy Charlie). I always loved to visit at your home when we were kids and I loved to listen to your dad talk politics and then to hear your mother say, "now Charlie." Your mother was so faithful to never forget birthdays and anniversaries in her extended family. Phyllis and I absolutely loved our last visit with her. At her age she had more political savvy, knowledge, and common sense than 90% of those morons in Washington, D.C. But she is in a far better place now, resting in the arms of Jesus, and hearing those words that we all long to hear, "well done, good and faithful servant."

Louise was one of the best people I ever met. She was always happy and never acted her age. She always made the kids things and remembered the ones who graduated high school and college. Enjoy your reward.

Butch and Dennis and family~
Your mother was a great and special person . Loved having her for a friend and neighbor for many years. Sorry for your loss.

Louise was such a great friend to our family. Mom and Dad had no greater supporters of their 26 years of ministry at Westbrook. Louise and Mom lived in Crestwood Village and Louise was faithful to visit Mom as Mom lost her eyesight. Now what a great reunion they all must be having and it's only just begun!

Louise was my neighbor when I was a teenager. She was the one who invited me to church. Her positive enthusiam for the Lord was one of the best influences in my life. She invited me to revival where I gave my life to Christ. I have spoken many times to others about her faithfullness and friendliness. Her legacy will live on in the lives of countless others who have been motivated to accept Christ because of her influence.

Louise was a delight to know and call a friend of the westside. She will be (and recently has been when unable to attend) missed greatly by her brother and sister members of 40 West. I truly hope her memories will still be shared and contributed to westside history archives. Prayer and blessing for her loved ones.

A lady who gave of herself to her family & church. She was also very supportive of her husband Charlie and his zeal for the Republican Party. We appreciated all they did for my political career. Blessings, Morris & Mary Ann Mills
