Mary Jeanne was a very dear friend. I drove her to all of her medical appointments, bank, clothes cleaner, restaurants, etc. over the last 14 years. She had an amazing mind and could recall so many wonderful stories from her past. I will greatly miss our conversations, her wit and wisdom! She was an inspiration to me and we always shared some laughter during our adventures. She was a wonderful and caring woman and I was blessed to have encountered her during my life! God speed Mary Jeanne, God has received an amazing soul!

Mary Jeanne and I are members of Oklahoma Prairies DAR where last year she presented a fascinating illustrated talk on her years of military service immediately after the war, as part of the Army of Occupation in Japan. She was a dedicated chapter member and was always fun to talk with. She will be missed.

I knew Mary Jeanne from our membership in the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Mary Jeanne was selected to be an Honorary President of General, which she was most deserving of from her faithful and devoted years of service to our organization. We were members of the UDC Military Cross Club together for many years. Mary Jeanne was a sweet and gentle soul who always encouraged others. She was always extra generous to our military women. She will be missed by those of us privileged to know her and call her our friend. Rest in peace Mary Jeanne.

I knew Mary Jeanne for many years from out joint membership in the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was the first person to welcome me at my first General Convention many years ago. I will always remember her and her kindness to those around her. She was a hard worker and will be missed by all her UDC friends
