Obituary
Mildred "Millie" Ferguson entered into heaven on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 with her loving family at her side. Wife of the late Earl "Pee Wee" Ferguson. Loving mother of John Ferguson, Deborah F. Smith husband William and Sherry F. Felder husband Alvin, Jr. Proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Fredrick Herbert and Mildred Brauner Herbert. Sister of Ann Herbert Story (Edmond) and Fredrick Herbert, Jr. (Patsy). Mildred was also survived by numerous loving other relatives and friends.
Age 81, a native of New Orleans, La. and a lifelong resident of the greater New Orleans area. The family would like to thank her friends at Summerfield Assisted Living community and the staff on the 1st floor at Slidell Memorial Hospital for their compassionate care of their mother.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Visitation from 11:00 am until funeral time. A private interment will be held at a later date. Online condolences available at www.gardenofmemoriesfunernalhome.com
