Miriam Maureen Finch died on April 10, 2020 in Tampa, Florida at the age of 76. Maureen was born in San Francisco, California in 1943. She is a graduate of The University of Maryland. Maureen worked as a teacher at The Montessori House for 10 years, later she was the business manager for Incarnation Catholic School and the parish office. She retired in November 2009.
Maureen is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years David and their four children - James W. Finch (Karon Finch), Jennifer M. Johnson (Drew Johnson), Jessica A. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren who truly loved their "Grammy" - Kiersten Gude (Justin), Kyle Finch, Brendan Johnson, Rachel Johnson, Hannah Finch, Matthew Martinez, Lauren Martinez and Ayden Schemel.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and grand-children, reading, gardening, and travel. She was a true animal lover and rescued many over the years. She was a charter member of the Columbiettes and an active member of the ICCW - Incarnation Council of Catholic Women.
A mass in her honor will be held on April 23, 2020 - this would have been her and David's 54th wedding anniversary. Details about funeral arrangements will be shared at a later time.

To my former Tampa neighbors - I am so sorry for your loss. There were many mornings that my granddaughter with our dogs, and I passed by and chatted with you in the driveway on our morning walks.

David and family, May the good memories hold you together while you feel like falling apart. Remember it is not goodbye but farewell,

Maureen was a dear and true friend to all who had nothing but kind words to say about everyone. Maureen was a very passoniate person and always was there to help where needed. You can consider blessed to be her friend. She will be looking down upon us to make sure we are doing what is right. She will be our angel. My deepest condolences to Dave and his family.
