Nicholas Gene Albanese, passed away on February 11, 2013 in Portland, Oregon. Nicholas was born in Columbus, Ohio on February 8, 1928 to Nicholas and Mary Albanese. On August 19, 1950, Nicholas married Mary Trianfo in Columbus, Ohio. Nick worked at Borden's Columbus Coated Fabric for many years.

Nicholas was predeceased by his parents, wife Mary E. Albanese, brothers John Albanese and Michael Albanese, sisters Mary Jane Davis, Delores McDonald. He is survived by son Thomas (Diane)Albanese, grandsons Antonio Albanese, Marco Albanese, sisters, Donna Hill, Maxine Getreu and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m., on Friday, February 15, 2013 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. Fifth Avenue, Columbus. Prayer Service with Committal (time to be announced) on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel (within the grounds of St. Joseph Cemetery), 6440 S. High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio.
