Opal was one of Grandma Grace's favorite cousins. I know they are catching up now in Heaven...

Aunt Opal has been there for me in every aspect of my life from good to bad. She and her sister Mildred stepped in when my Mother (Hazel Auer Randall) died in 1969 to help me develop into the person I am today. I could not have had better role models and mentors. I love her deeply and will miss her every day. Her Christian influence in my life and the solid values she helped instill in me will endure with me until that day when we will see each other again in Heaven. I hold such fond memories of her potato salad,
giddy laugh, and strong hugs.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Auer clan at this time. Having suffered a heart attack, I will be unable to attend Aunt Opal's funeral, but my heart will be there with all of you. I will miss seeing all of you, too.
Deepest love,
Gwyn Randall Hartman
