Pennie Paulus Wilhelm, 71, of Fremont died Saturday evening at Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born April 13, 1943 in Fremont, the daughter of Newton and Evelyn (Duket) Paulus. She was a woman devoted to her family. Pennie was an active parent, volunteering as a room mother at Atkinson Elementary when her children were young, attending band competitions and the Pop’s Concert at Ross. She enjoyed watching her daily soap operas and nightly Reality TV, “The Young and the Restless” and “Big Brother” being two of her favorites. It was a sure bet to find Ballreich’s potato chips and watermelon in her house.

Surviving are her children: Tim (Michele) Wilhelm, Terry Wilhelm, and Tammie Wilhelm all of Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Chase Wilhelm, Austin Wilhelm and Alayna Wilhelm. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Rocky Paulus.
