Services for Mr. Ralph Gordon Bennett 72 of Leesville will be held Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the Hixson Funeral Home Chapel of Leesville. Pallbearers will be Brian Bennett, Mark Bennett, Kevin Bennett, Bradley Bennett, Dicky Fetting and Jason Self with honorary pallbearer being Joe Parker.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 11:00 am until time of services at 2:00 pm at Hixson Funeral Home.
Mr. Bennett was born September 3, 1940, to Aswell James and Ida Jackson Bennett in Leesville, Louisiana and passed from this life on Wednesday, December 19, 2012.
Mr. Bennett attended school at Simpson, Louisiana and retired from the Louisiana Department of Transportation. He liked to fish and hunt and loved his little dog.
Mr. Bennett is preceded in death by his parents; Aswell and Ida J. Bennett of Simpson, LA.
Mr. Bennett is survived by his wife; Quinda Youngblood Bennett, of Leesville, daughter; Brandi Bennett of Leesville, sons; Kevin Bennett and wife, Candy Bennett, of Leesville, Mark Bennett of Marysville, WA, Bradley Bennett of Hearne, TX and Brian Bennett of Baton Rouge, LA, and granddaughters; Brooke, Devon and Bailee Bennett all of Leesville.
In lieu of flower memorial donations can be made to Welcome Cemetery Association in Simpson, LA or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
