Today's service was beautiful. Nicole and Michelle, your words to your father were so heartfelt. You did a great job speaking of your love for your father and his love for both of you. You are both such amazing adults and the unconditional love your father gave you was obvious. Thank you for sharing that part of your life with your father with all of us.

I knew Mr. Durante as the loving father of his strong, kind, intelligent, and beautiful daughter, Nicole, my dear friend of many years. Although I did not have the pleasure of spending a lot of time with him, I will always remember his smiling face, the love he had for my beautiful friend Nicole, and most importantly, the legacy he leaves behind in the strong and beautiful daughters who are a credit to his love and kindness as a father. My heart goes out to Nicole and her family. Wishing you all much love and peace during this difficult time.

We are sadden to hear of Bobs passing. I have known Bob since he started working for Mike on the island. He was an honest and knowledgeable guy, that was always there if I needed advice. I talked to him on Christmas eve and he sounded upbeat considering what he was going through. That is the kind of guy he was. I enjoyed our various trips together, Vegas and Montreal just to name a few. He was just a great guy, and he will definitely be missed. Sorry that I could not be there. My condolences go out to all his friends and family who are dealing with such a great loss. Bob will be missed.

Currans, Durantes and Anita - When somebody dies, a cloud turns into an angel, flies up to tell GOD to put another flower on a pillow. A bird gives the message back to the world and sings a silent prayer that makes the rain cry. People disappear, but they never really go away. The spirits up there put the sun to bed, wake up grass and spin the earth in dizzy circles. Sometimes you can see them dancing in a cloud during the day-time when they are supposed to be sleeping. They paint the rainbows and also the sunsets and make waves splash and tug at the tide. They toss shooting stars and listen to wishes. And when they sing wind-songs they whisper to us dont MISS ME TOO MUCH. The view is nice and I'M doing JUST FINE.
As difficult as it is right now remember the memories of Bob. I truly believe that he is partying up there with his MOM, my sista/BFF ALICE, DANNY and CARLO. They are wondering why the tears are falling when you should be rejoicing the life that he lived. May GOD BLESS each and everyone of you.

Bob gave me my first "real" job. When I first met him, I knew right away that he was a very intelligent, kind and genuine person. As time passed, and my family grew, he would always ask after my children and husband. He would listen and laugh at our good times, and also lent an ear and offered support in the harder times. His continuous support and interest in my work and life was always genuine. I appreciate having met Bob - he was a teacher to me - who was friendly, funny and tender hearted. I'm glad to have met Bob and I will miss him. My heartfelt condolences to all of Bob's family, friends and colleagues.
