We just learned that Bob passed away last year. He was a special man and we always appreciated his wife and Bob in their kind ways.

Bob Hyde played high school basketball with my brother, Dave Schlinger. Bob was a good teammate and a young man of fine character. If I saw him in town when I was visiting, I tried to say "Hello and how are you?" I am so surprised and sad to read of his passing. May God's love surround his wife Mary and all the family at this time. Sincerely, Mary Schlinger Hanner

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Hyde was one of my teachers at Gasport Elementary in the 1970's. I still have the Gideon Bible that he passed out to the students. He was one of my favorites because we shared a love for basketball. May he rest in peace.

Please accept my deepest condolences. Mr. Hyde was a fabulous teacher and I know a lot of my classmates from the early 80's feel the same way. Prayers to you all.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Hyde was a nice teacher. He was one of my teachers in the early 80's. If I'm remembering correctly, Mr Hyde was the one who brought in the big cider press to school so the students could see how apple cider was made. Not all teachers create special memories that their students will still remember over thirty years later. God bless.
