Rodney Allen Hicks, 62, of Jackson passed away Tuesday June 12, 2012 at the John George Home in Jackson with his Sister Beth and Allegiance Hospice at his side. He was born March 6, 1950 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Robert Reed and Mary LaDonna (Shaner) Hicks.
He has lived in the Jackson County area all of his life, he loved to play the guitar and all kinds of music, drawing, puzzles, his mountain bike and karate.
He is survived by 1 Sister Beth Zaremba of Concord; 2 Brothers Robert (Louise) Hicks of Litchfield; and Rick (Rhonda) Hicks of Hillsdale; many Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Parents.
His Sister Beth would like to thank the Allegiance Health for all their care given to him during his courageous battle with cancer; the John George Home and Recovery Technology for all of their help and care.
Visitation for Family and friends will be Sunday June 17, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00 -8:00 P.M. at the ERIE STREET CHAPEL of the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 208 West Erie Street, Albion, MI 49224. Funeral Services will be Monday June 18, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Melany Chalker officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery-Concord, MI

it seems cruel to get him back only to lose him again so fast, but i am sure it is time you will cherish forever. Some people don't get that chance at all so you are lucky. Luv you bunches, if you need me i am here.
