Funeral services for Ronald James Bennett will be at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, January 10, 2011 at First United Pentecostal Church of Leesville with Rev. Mark Christian and Rev. Louis Magee officiating. Burial will be in Welcome Cemetery, Simpson, LA under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 9, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel, Leesville and from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at the church.
Mr. Bennett, age 71, of Slagle, Louisiana passed away Saturday, January 08, 2011 in Leesville, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by a son Brett Renae Bennett, parents Lloyd and Pearl Bennett and brother, Gene Bennett.
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Magee Bennett of Slagle; three sons, James Galen and wife, Elizabeth, Ronald Eric Bennett and William Clay Bennett all of Slagle, LA; Sister and brother in law Barbara Jackson and Claiborne of Simpson, LA. 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren

im so sorry to hear of mr. ronald james passing. mrs. wilma, clay , eric, galen, your all in our prayers, im so sorry i cant make the service. there was no way possible i could get off work . i always looked up to him as a he helped so many people. always with a smile. for he will be truly missed. im so glad to have known him. i say him every day on the bus at school. remembering you all at this time. david and shawn martin
