Wesley R Mills, III, died suddenly of heart complications early Saturday morning at his home in the city of Milton. Ryland was born in Fulton County, Ga. July 23, 1956 and resided there all of his life. He attended Riverwood High School where he was active in the chorale, marching band, and the co-star of the senior play. In 1989 he founded Specialized Import Service, an authorized BOSCH repair facility, which he managed until his death. Ryland was active in the Porsche Club and raced often at Road Atlanta and at Sebring Florida where he was often in the winners’ circle as well as on teams with Jack Baldwin. Ryland received numerous awards in recognition of his service and expertise in the automobile industry. He was known for his honesty and compassion in dealing with his clients. Ryland was also affiliated as a racing consultant with Bacas Health Care of Houston, Texas. He loved Porsche automobiles, German Shepherds, and boating. He could back his cruiser at Lake Lanier into a narrow slip without a ripple in the water as easily as most people can park a compact car. First and foremost, Ryland’s family was always the love of his life. He is survived by his parents Doris and Wesley Mills Jr. , his wife Debbie Mills, his son Wesley IV and daughter Leah, his sister Stephanie Mills, his sister Karen Lanning and brother-in-law Ron Lanning, his sister Melanie Abrams and brother-in-law Wendell Abrams as well as numerous aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews and 2 great nephews. Visitation is Tuesday, August 26th from 6 to 8 at H.M. Patterson & Son Arlington Chapel. Services are Wednesday, August 27th, at 2:00 at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, NE, Sandy Springs, Ga 30328, 404-851-9900.
