SAUNDRA GLAZIER Saundra L. Glazier, "Sandy," 75, passed away peacefully March 29, 2014, after a long battle with the symptoms of COPD. Sandy was born in Uniontown, Pa., Nov. 3, 1938. At 19, Sandy joined the U.S. Air Force, where she excelled in the Discharge Department. Sandy then met and fell in love with Philadelphia police officer, Thomas Glazier Sr. They were married and had two sons, Thomas G. Glazier Jr. and Joseph A. Glazier. She worked as an admissions supervisor at St. Mary's Hospital in Philadelphia, 1961-1972. In 1972, Sandy moved to Las Vegas and was employed by the Circus Circus Corporation, where she worked her way up to the assistant of the vice president of advertising, marketing and public relations. Sandy retired in 1987, shortly after her husband's death. Sandy was an avid garage saler who would spend her weekends shopping for gifts for friends and family. She took great pride in bragging about all the great deals she could find. Sandy was a very giving person who made holiday magic to everyone close to her. She was an excellent artist and had great talent in the area of sketching and painting. Sandy is survived by her sons, Thomas and Joseph Glazier; along with grandchildren, Ryan, Rachel, Nick, Tayler, Josh, Loren, Sean, Drew and Vanessa. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Friday, April 4, with services following, both at Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

Sandy was a great mother-in-law, and a very generous person. I would of loved to know her earlier in life. I've heard she was a real firecracker! I have missed being able to share everyday conversations, as well as milestones with her.
Love always,
Marlo

My adopted cousin---I will miss you and think about the good times ie when Frankie and I were married up there and had the reception at your house and how you and Tom saved the "Honey do list" until we came up to Vegas for Frankie to do. Tom would say " That's what cousins are for"!! I just know you and Frankie are up there raisin' ---- as usual!
Love ya, Suzie

Sandy was like my big sister. When I was 12-years old, she saved my life. She took me to the Hospital when my appendix ruptured. She was also the one that taught me to dance.
Sandy, I will always love you and miss you.
