Scott L. Greene – a 79 year-old native of Mobile and resident of Dauphin Island passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012. He was the longtime owner of Scott L. Greene Costruction. Mr. Greene was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed traveling with his family in their motorhome. He will always be remembered as a builder of ministries. Mr. Greene is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Hazel Richardson Greene; sons, DeWayne Greene (Jayne), Eric Greene (Jamie), and Mitchell Greene; brother, Brewton "Buddy" Greene, Jr. (Marolyn); grandchildren, Meg Greene, Aubrey McConnell, and Kevin Greene; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Tusday, December 4, 2012, at 2 p.m. with Bro. Chris Schansberg officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until the service hour. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Dauphin Island Baptist Church, 510 Chaumont Dr., Dauphin Island, AL 36528. Condolences may be offered at www.mmgfuneralhome.com.
