Sharon touched the lives of so many individuals, both teachers and students alike. Her passion for teaching students to read is her legacy in Bastrop ISD, and I was privileged to work with her as she led so many children to discover their own strengths. Her precious personality will be greatly missed. May God bless you and comfort you during this time.

Dear Chess Family, in such a brief time your mom touched my heart with her strength, bravery, and love for others. We had many private talks about her love for you and for her Lord. I know that as I write this, she is is walking and talking with him - pain and disease free. That is one shred of happiness during this time of such grief. God Bless you all.
