I only found out about this now...So Sorry to hear this. I was a babysitter to Stephanie and her Sister Jessica. I have a memory of her always playing with the stray cats around the neighborhood and just a general fun loving girl. She will be missed and I share the sorrow of her Family.

I didnt know Stephanie long but I knew her long enough to know she was a wonderful person. Every time I went to Gate with my daughter she always gave her a doughnut or candy. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Stephanie you will be missed by me and Aleya. My condolenses to your Family.

I knew Stephanie from the Gate and would see her around the neighborhood. She had to be the friendliest person I have ever met. She always had a smile for everyone. While our contact was limited I feel honored to have known her and she made my life richer with her presence. Steph you will be missed, keep on sporting them "SCRUBS". May you Rest In Peace! I don't even know where to begin. Stephanie was an amazing woman. She was so easy to talk to, the hours we spent together would just fly by. Being with her was like free therapy! She was so easy to pour your heart out to and share all the imtimate details of your life. She never judged. Just shared her life experiences, listened, laughed, and gave incredibly good advice.

Stephanie, I am so heartbroken that you were taken from us. I miss you, and I know that I can talk to you whenever I want. You are watching over us and always listening.

My prayers are with your family. May their hearts hurt less every day. And I pray we all live life to the fullest and cherish each day, just as you would have. We live for you now.

Stephanie was the best friend of many people. She was someone you could talk to about anything. She always had a smile on her face no matter what the situation was. She always tried to find the good in anyone she met. She was a strong woman who had a kind heart and she loved animals. Everyone who knew her loved her. Stephanie I want you to know that you made a big difference in my life. Because of the way you talked about how much your family meant to you, I realized how much my family means to me. You helped bring Chris, MacKenzie and I closer together just by being part of our life. You were more than just my best friend, you were more like one of my sisters. I miss you so much. You will always be in our hearts and memories. Rest in Peace My Friend.

To all who knew and loved Steph...she was one of those young women who always, always, found something wonderful in what she was doing. Sometimes, she would throw things in the air or across the room and declare, "that's it, I'm not doing this any more..." as she stormed out of the room only to come back shortly and laugh at herself and her mess as she cleaned it up and began in a new direction. She was creative, loving, loyal, generous to a fault, forgiving, understanding and gorgeous. Even though I didn't get to talk with her much in her late 20's on...I knew her as a child, as a growing young woman and as an artist in her own right. The world is a darker place without her but our hearts are warmer for knowing her. May she be remembered in light for all eternity. Stephanie, we love you always! Bev and Thespian Troupe 4637

Stephanie was such an amazing person, she loved so hard with no judgements and made me laugh until I cried. I would give anything to go back to a day at the gate , then a dinner date at chilis. I pray for peace for all who loved you.

Our family's hearts are deeply troubled. Our prayers are with you continuously in your time of sorrow. Stephanie came to see our boys' band in March and after the show she came running out to tell them how awesome they were. She was so sweet and her excitement meant a lot to them. We are so very sorry for your anguish and have all been deeply affected. Our love to each of you. May God bring peace.

My heart goes out to the family. Stephanie was such a cool person. I, and other officers, enjoyed stopping in the Gate station to get a drink and chat with her. She was such a nice person and fun to talk to. She brought a smile to my face on many occasions. I was shocked when I heard of this and deeply saddened. Hopefully my agency will bring the family some closure soon. God bless you all in these sad times!

A letter I received from Stephanie years ago that I would like to return to her, because after all these years I never forgot:
"To my friend: If people know how truly amazing and caring you really are, and saw all your bravery & strengths, not selling out in your game, only relying on yourself, giving so much and taking so little, THEY WOULD BOW TO YOU MY FRIEND."
