We knew Stewart as the Grandpa of the wonderful family that lives next year. We would exchange Grandparent stories with each other as we ate birthday cake, and on occasion he and my husband would go hiking together. He was taken too soon, but fond memories will linger on.

So sorry for your loss. Stewart and I were born 11 days apart in Crookston in 1943. His mom and my sister were best friends so we have quite a connection from the beginning of our lives. We lived across the street from his Grandmother Irene who I adored. Irene and my Mom were best of friends so whe was a frequent visitor in our home. I'll never forget your family. God bless you.

Stewart was amongst the few people that my girlfriend and I would speak with after service. He was a very kind and gentle man, always telling us great stories. He told us one the first time we met him actually. How he loved photography and moved to Waikiki Beach with his suitcase, and camera and only had $5 in his pocket. Hes hard work, enthusiasm and friendly face will be dearly missed. Rest in Peace Stewart, Imagine all the lovely things you can photograph now!

I grew up in Crookston, Mn. with Stewart. He was kind and fun and played ice hockey. We renewed our acquaintance in more recent years online in a "Crookston group". He was a man of vibrant faith and compassion, and enjoyed his family and life to the fullest. We will miss him, but we rejoice that he is in God's Eternal Home. Blessings and comfort to Stewart's family.
