I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Verdie...He was such a wonderful man. We used to work together at Walmart on Hwy 17 and on Abercorn across the street of the Savannah Mall.. We worked together in the Garden Shop..It was such a great pleasure and honor to work with him and know him.. He would put a smile on everyone face that knew him and even to the ones that didn't know him..God Bless the whole family..

I am so sorry to learn of Verdie's passing. I was honored to get to know him as we worked at wal-mart. You could not have met a more nice respectful person. He had a gentle spirit about him.He was a joy to work with.We shared a common bond. I was born in Swainsboro Ga. and my grandmother attended Sardis church where his dad pastored. He spoke of his family often. He was a dear dear person and my life was enriched just by getting to know him as a co-worker and friend. My prayers are with the family. May God Bless each one of you.
