Vivian Yvonne Jordan Adriance, age 88, of Orlando, Florida died April 10, 2011. Vivian was born on June 9, 1922 to Dollie Varden Jordan and Ida Johnson Jordan in rural Ames, Iowa. She graduated from Shipley (Iowa) High School in 1939. After school, she worked as a typist at the Reuben H. Donnelly Corporation in Nevada, Iowa fro three years. In 1941, she married Wilbert Glenn Adriance and moved to Baltimore, Maryland. She was a member of Perry Hall Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher. She and Glenn were counselors for the Senior High MYF and she served on the Altar Guild for three years. In Orlando, Vivian was a member of Pine Castle and subsequently Conway Methodist churches. Vivian is survived by her son, Carter Brent Adriance of Johnstown, New York and her daughter, Ramona Lee Adriance of Orlando, Florida; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
