Walter Andres
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father Walter Cornelius Andres of Rosetown, SK. Dad passed away at home to be with his Lord and Savior August 24, 2010 at age 87. He leaves behind to mourn, his loving wife Magdalena of 59 wonderful married years, his four daughters: Christine (Gerhard) Schröder of Germany; Kay (Denys) Robidoux of Saskatoon; Ruth (Laverne) Cressman, of Rosetown; and Irene (Bruce) Kidd of Saskatoon; along with 12 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and 1 sister Charlotte Wiehler of Calgary, AB. Dad was grateful for the fullness of his life, including his love for the farm where he lived until his passing. Mom and Dad enjoyed their numerous trips across Canada, USA, Mexico, and most of all to Germany. The Funeral Service was held at the Ebenfeld Mennonite Church at Herschel, SK at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 27, 2010. A lunch followed at the Rosetown Alliance Church, 1002 6th Street E. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to MCC. Clements Rosetown Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
