A beautiful soul has left this earth, Wanda M. Compton Wiley, 82 of Charleston passed away August 17th, 2014 after a long and courageous battle with illness.
She had a passion for gardening and all animals, but hummingbirds and dogs were very special to her.
She was preceded in death by husband Walter V. Wiley, father William E (Wee) Compton, mother Della L. Compton a sister Garnet L Jackson Stanley and sister, Tootie Jackson Kidd Peters.
She is survived by Daughter Pamela G Wiley of Charleston, son Kerry M. Wiley and wife Christine of Belle, WV, son Curtis D Wiley of Charleston and one very special granddaughter Ashley N Wiley of Charleston as well as her brother Dencil B Compton and wife Carolyn of Garland, Texas and many nieces and nephews.
It was her wish to be cremated.
Memorial service will be 11:00 AM Saturday August 23, 2014 at the Bartlett Burdette Cox Funeral Home 513 Tennessee Avenue Charleston, WV 25302. Friends and family may call one hour before service at the funeral home.
