William Dennis Beacham, 68, died Saturday, February 16,2013 at his home. The funeral
service wi1l be held Tuesday at2:00 PM at Macedonia Christian Church with Greg
Sexton officiating.
Mr Beacham was bom on November 12, 1944 inEdgecombe County, son of the late
William and Amy Everett Beacham. He was retired from Harris Lilley for several years.
He was United States Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War. Also he was a member
of the Macedonia Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by a brother Guy Mitchell Beacham.
On July 19, 1991he married Wildra Wynne Beacham who survives. Survivors in
addition to his wife are stepsons Johnny G Alexander and Tony L Alexander and wife
Robin both of Smithfield VA, - step daughter Lisa A Hardison and husband Timmy
of Bear Grass, sisters Alice Faye Harris of Bear Grass, Joyce B Harden of Hertford, and
Mary B Whitford of Washington, brothers George "Yogi" Beecham of Williamston, Bob
Beecham of Mt Pleasant, and Bill "Blue" Beecham of Bear Grass, step grandchildren
Troy Alexander, Jesse Alexander, Cody Alexander, Trara Wiggs, Lexi Hardison, and step
great grandchild Chloe Alexander.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7-8:30 PM at Macedonia Christian Church
and other times at the residence 1095 Lee Road Ext. Bear Grass NC

I knew Dennis in the seventies and he was always a fun person to be around--always made people feel at home. May he rest in peace now. Prayers go up for his family. So sorry for the loss of a very nice man.
