Winifred "Peg" Marie Fogel, 100, of Deland, Florida passed away March 29,
2013 in Orange City, Florida under the loving care of Hospice. She was born
April 19, 1912 to the late Henry R. and Pearl Gregory Cunningham in Homer,
Michigan. She graduated from Homer High School. In 1937, she married Ray E.
Fogel and worked with him at the Homer Index.
After wintering in Florida for a number of years, they sold their home in
Homer and relocated to Florida. Following Ray's death in 1998, Peg remained
active and independent. She would never turn down a game of cards and was
an enthusiastic bridge player. She bowled on the Hidden Valley Bowling
League until age 96 and also drove her car until she was 99.
She will be greatly missed by her children-

Richard (Carol) Fogel of Tekonsha
James (Bonnie) Fogel of Spring Lake, MI
As well as her 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were sister Ruth Hapgood and brother Cecil Cunningham.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 6 at 1:00 at the First Presbyterian Church,
309 Sophia Street in Homer. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Noon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Halifax Health - Hospice of
Volusia/Flagler, 1250 South SR 15-A, Ste. 3, Deland, FL 32720 (hovg.org
). Burial will be
at Fairview Cemetery, Homer.
