VINTON - Adam T. Church, 75, died at 5:55 a.m. Friday, September 3, 2010, in his home.
Adam was a native of Orange, TX, and lived in Vinton for 28 years. He attended the First Baptist Church of Vinton. He was a Mason and a Shriner. Adam loved to fish.
Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years Rita A. Church of Vinton; daughters, Angela Bussy and her husband Jeff of North Liberty, IN, and Janet Church of Livingston, TX; sons Michael Church and his wife Karen of Port Arthur, TX, and Troy Church and his wife Lea of Kingwood, TX; stepsons Richard Williamson and his wife Mindy of Nederland, TX, Ricky Williamson and his wife Ruby of Deweyville, TX, Russell Williamson and his wife Brenda of Vinton, and Robby Williamson and his wife Amanda of Orange, TX; 25 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son Benjamin Thomas Church and his stepson Randall Keith Williamson.
His funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Vinton. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Vinton. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday in the church.
