Adeline C. (Minotto) Bauer, 75 of Pottstown, PA widower of Raymond J. Bauer died Monday, February 1, 2010 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.
Born in Douglassville she was the daughter of the late Cecilia (Minotto) and Joseph Minotto.
Adeline was a Pottstown High School graduate. She was a member of St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church, Douglassville and St. Gabriel's Lodge. A talented seamstress, Addie was a master of her craft in making slipcovers and draperies for 60 years. She was employed at Barry Decorator's, Millie's Decorating, Goodavage Draperies and had many clients of her own over the years. Addie enjoyed having fun with her grandchildren, family and friends, playing pinochle and scrabble, fishing at Ocean City, MD and baking delicious pies for her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Lisa, wife of David Shiner of Uniontown, Ohio and Linda, wife of CJ Vocu of Oley, PA; three grandchildren, Carly and Zane Shiner and Lia Vocu; six brothers, Armand Minotto of Douglassville, Ralph Minotto of Stowe, Joe Minotto of Florida, Eugene Minotto of Stowe, Anthony Minotto of Douglassville and Augustus Minotto of Douglassville; two sisters, Ann Rogers of Pottstown and Catherine Sands of Douglassville. She is also survived by a long time friend Fred Spiezio of Douglassville and a brother-in-law, Herbert J. Bauer of Florida. Adeline was predeceased by a sister, Elsie and two brothers Angelo and John.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church, 1188 Ben Franklin Highway East, Douglassville, PA. The Reverend Calvin C. Adams will officiate.
A viewing will be Friday, February 5, 2010 at the Linwood W. Ott Funeral Home, Inc., 111 North Reading Avenue, Boyertown, PA.
Burial will be in St. Aloysius (New) Cemetery, Pottstown, PA.
