Agnes Taubenheim, 101, formerly of Sheboygan, passed away on Tuesday morning, October 22, 2013 at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center.
Agnes was born July 7, 1912 in Sheboygan to Arthur and Louisa (Kummer) Gunther.
She attended Sheboygan grade schools and was a graduate of Sheboygan Central High School, Class of June 1929.
On October 6, 1934 Wilbert Taubenheim and Agnes Gunther were united in marriage. He preceded her in death on December 11, 1994.
She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.
Agnes was a secretary for the civil service until her retirement in 1986.
Survivors include her son, Steve Burt Taubenheim of Sheboygan; three grandchildren, Michael (Lisa) Taubenheim, Brian (Jennifer) Taubenheim, and Quinn Taubenheim, all of California; a great-grandchild, Vaughn Taubenheim, of California; and a daughter-in-law, Carol Taubenheim Anderson.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son Randall Taubenheim.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. Rev Ric Olson, Senior Pastor of St. Luke United Methodist Church will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held on Monday at the funeral home from 1:30pm until the time of service. Entombment will take place at Garden Terrace Mausoleum.
Memorials can be given in her name to the Sheboygan Chapter of the Salvation Army.
