Aida M. Acosta, 84, surrounded by her family, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Avelina and Nicandro Acosta and sister Consuelo Hull; Survived by her brothers, Hank, Javier (Joan), Benjamin (Maria), Ricardo (Dolores), and many nieces and nephews. Aida was born and raised in San Diego and a retiree of the Federal Government. She was a loyal Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend and will be missed by all that knew her. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Vincent Catholic Church, 4080 Hawk Street, San Diego, CA 92103. Burial will take place immediately after mass at Holy Cross Cemetery.
