On Tuesday, June 21, 2011 Alberta C. Abel formally of Arlington, VA. Mrs. Abel had celebrated her 101 birthday. Wife of the late J. Frederick Abel. Mother of Selina A. (John) Taylor and Jon Frederick (Margaret) Abel. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 2 PM in Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, 1500 N. Glebe Road, Arlington, VA 22207. Interment services will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Endowment Fund.
