Funeral services will be Friday, November 9, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Christ Central Church for Alfred Bone, 86, of Gadsden, who passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. He will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Rev. Sherri Reynolds will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mr. Bone was a veteran of WWII. He was retired from the Gadsden Fire Department and was the owner of Bone Accounting. He was a strong active leader of Christ Central Church.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Frances Bone.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Christ Central Church.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
