Alicia passed away peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease, at the age of 86, surrounded by her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Alicia was born Maria Elise Paredes in Tucson, AZ and was daughter to Jesus Paredes & Maria Varelas. Alicia or Alice as she was known to many, had a total of 10 children, four of which preceded her in death (Enrique, David, Alfred & Ramon) and is survived by six (Richard, Robert, Helen, Gloria, Barbara & Henry). Nana was blessed with 21 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren & 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was a loving companion/wife to Salomon V. Baldenegro for nearly 30 years before his death in 1983. We will remember her humor, wit, great cooking, her beautiful garden,and most of all, her love.
