Alma Mae Altergott passed away peacefully in her Evans home on August 18, 2012. She was blessed to have family by her side. Alma resided with her daughter, Darla Pisciotti, for the last 10 years. Hospice & Palliative Care of Northern Colorado assisted Alma for the past 6 months.
She was born on June 21, 1915 on the family's farm in Carroll County near Paulsboro, IL. Her parents were Robert John Williamson and Nettie (Law) Williamson.
Alma was self employed as a cosmetologist owning her own businesses in Kimball, NE and Scottsbluff, NE in the late 1940's through mid 1950's. She was also a certified cosmetology instructor in Scottsbluff. She enjoyed golfing, playing bridge and entertaining friends.
Survivors include her son, Robert Koller and his wife Anne Koller, of France; her daughter Darla Pisciotti and her husband Gordon Pisciotti of Evans, CO; her grandchildren Luke Mitchell of Evans; Jeremy Mitchell and wife Randi Rae Blakesly of Denver, CO and Rob Koller and his wife Sue Koller of Laramie, WY. The great grandchildren are Monique Koller of Laramie, WY; Brandon Blakesly and Xander Blakesly of Denver, CO. The stepgrandchildren are Angela and Tim Armijo; Jonathan Pisciotti and fiancé Candy Vasco; and Melissa Pisciotti; along with the step great grandchildren Jaelynn and Addison Armijo. . She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Altergott, of Greeley, CO and her parents Robert and Nettie Williamson of Mount Carrol, IL.
A celebration of life will be held at the Vineyard Church of Greeley, 1015 9th Avenue on August 26th, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. for family and friends.
