Mrs. Alma E. "Aunt Ammer" Arnold
Funeral services for Mrs. Alma E. Arnold, age 85 of Pensacola, Fl; formerly of Cullman, will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Bangor Baptist Cemetery, with Rev. Joe Cook officiating.

Mrs. Arnold passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2009 in Pensacola. She was born on October 24, 1924 in Cullman County to Joe Wheeler Cook and Elvie E. Bradley Cook. She was a member of Bangor Baptist Church, an avid flower gardener and had "The Green Thumb" in the family. And when the grandchildren were young she taught them all to fish and also a member of the 32nd Assembly of the General Grand Chapter ,Order of Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cecil Arnold; a daughter, Linda Carol Rice; one son, Wayne Rice; two sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include her two Daughters, Cecelia (Tony) Arnold of Pensacola, Fl and Sheree (Gary) Smith of Walter, AL; two Sisters, Sue Hosmer and Shirley Cook; four Brothers, Rev. Joe Cook; Gene Cook; Ray Cook and Franklin Cook; four Grandchildren, Andrea Kramer; Angela Isbell; David Rice and Christopher Thomas; eight Great-Grandchildren; and forty four Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at the funeral home from 5:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
